Project 365 {Week 2}

I had a really good week as far as photography goes!

Only in my second week, and I’m already seeing improvements in my shots just by picking up my camera every day.  Some of these pictures are by far the coolest ones I’ve ever taken.

I also have decided at this point not to do a collage of my pictures.  The actual blog space on my page is so narrow, the pictures would be nearly invisible.  They are quite small as it is.  So I will continue to post them one at a time.

(Side note – my husband told me he likes it better when captions are UNDER pictures rather than OVER them, so I will be captioning below.)

January 8

My beloved iPhone.  It has seen better days.

January 9

Snow on the tree outside Ronan’s bedroom window.  I may hate it, but I have to agree that it is pretty beautiful.

January 10

Blue-eyed boy trying to get past the baby gate into my bedroom.  Those eyes are begging.

January 11

From our snow day.  I love the colors… and the flakes on his lashes.

January 12

I took a ton of pictures of these icicles to get the shot I wanted, and this one turned out perfect.

January 13

Big and little Lightening McQueen.

January 14

Ronan climbed up on the table and smacked the TV.  The hand prints were too precious – I had to take a picture before I wiped them away.

I had a lot of fun this week!  I can’t wait to take more next week.

    These shots are beautiful!

  • I love the one with him eating snow. its a gorgeous shot!

  • I love the one with the snowflakes on his eyelashes! And your ice shot is great! Makes me long for snow here!

  • love it! my baby totally ate snow too!

  • They are all great. I see an improvement too. I love the icilce photo.

  • I’m finding this Project 365 lots of fun too! Love all the pics but I must say the icicles are beautiful!

  • Those are fabulous pictures! P365 is fun! I especially love the icicle shot and the handprints on the TV. By the way, I’ve gotten so many questions about “what camera I use” from people who saw the snow pictures you took of Fox. Thanks again!

  • Oh, I love that icicle shot! I need to check my roof line this weekend for icicles!

Stopping by from Nap Time Mom Tog 🙂

  • Oh wow, I love the boy eating snow. Wow, that is a great photo!

Sorry about your iphone! I saw a huge improvement in my photography last year, too. This project really does help because you end up using your camera so much and I love that. You have a great week of photos here! My favorite is of your little boy with the big snowball.

  • Ok, why is no one asking: WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR IPHONE?!

PS: The snow picture with Ronan’a lashes? Clear winner. 🙂

  • First, what did you do to your phone? Second, Ronan seems to be thinking, “Come on, Mommy, you know you want to let me in.”

  • Great pictures. My daughter also gives me begging eyes when she wants on the other side of the gate.

  • January 11th photo = perfection.
The picture of your iPhone breaks my heart. And I agree with your husband, captions belong under the pic.

  • the last one was probably very sweet i am sure, but it kinda creeps me out for some reason. handprints are freaky to me. i think it has a lot to do with the movie “mirrors”. yikes! great shots this week though.hope the rest of your weekend is great too.

  • WOW… those eyes in the Jan. 10th shot… I’d probably give in. Not really, but it would be hard not too! Great shots! =)

  • Looks like you are having a lot of fun with this 365 project! those are some great shots! I agree that it looks better when you post them individually rather than doing a collage.
    keep it up 🙂

  • OH NO!!! RIP iPhone! If your house is anything like mine, it met with demise because of your kids? This is my third year of project 365 and it’s so important to capture the good and the bad and that is exactly what you did. GREAT recap!

  • Poor iphone! Love your snow day shot. Everything about it is perfect.

  • The car picture reminds me of my house. 😉
