Just A Bunch of Pictures

I have been taking lots and sharing few.

Also, I got a new lens for my camera.  I have a few pictures from before I started using my 50mm f/1.8 (which I LOVE) and a few from after.

First, a terrible picture of Ruby… but an amazing hand-knit sweater from my Grandma Fran.  Simply Amazing.

So lovely.

Chillin’.  Sometimes, when Ruby is fussy, she does really well if you just lay her down… she wants a little alone time.

This is my best attempt at a brother-sister shot so far.  Not working out so well.

I think she’s gonna be a pretty blue-eyes like her big brother.

Pictures from here on out are with my new lens!

The focus is wrong, but I love the picture anyways!  Ronan’s favorite hang-out.

Playin’ wild with Dad!

I love to watch them.  Oh so very much.

<3.

Sweet Ruby face!

And even though I just took this picture a few minutes ago, it’s my new favorite.

I still have a lot to learn – about photography, lighting, my new lens… but I’m having a lot of fun.  And catching some great memories while I’m at it.

Christmas Passed.

We had a lovely Christmas, all around.

I didn’t take enough pictures… I spent far too much time enjoying the day.  I just wanted to share a few of the good ones that I DID take.

Our tree and gifts, with Ronan’s new Balance Bike

Ronan enjoying play time outside and Grandmom and Granddads.

Dad taking the hill full speed with Ronan, the car, Ed out back and Flint in the lead!

Two bikes for two boys… the night before Christmas.

Heh.  (Hi Brady!)

And I had to throw in a handsome picture of my wonderful husband.  Cause I can.  And cause I love him.

Something To Look At.

I have been terrible about leaving pictures on my camera lately.

This is just a small sampling of the pictures I have taken in the last few weeks.

Ronan playing with his airplane.

I love this picture.  The perspective, the bokeh, the TOES.  It just gets me.

Hehehe.

Just a few repairs.

My heart.

And for those interested:  I got to go out for a girl’s night Friday night.

I got dolled up for the first time in AGES, and I decided to take some pictures to prove it happened.

That was 25 weeks and 5 days pregnant!

ImaginON!

Here in Charlotte, we have a free public library that has a TON of places for kids to play and explore, as well as TONS of books.

I love this place more than I can say.  There are baby areas, toddler areas, big kid areas, and of course plenty of space to run.

My friend Mary Beth and I have a semi-standing monthly ImaginON date, and I look forward to it all month.  I got some sweet pictures of Ronan while we were there last time.  None of them smiling, to be sure, but cute none the less.

I promise you, he DOES smile.  Just not on camera.

This last one is probably one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken.  Just saying.
