Here in Charlotte, we have a free public library that has a TON of places for kids to play and explore, as well as TONS of books.

I love this place more than I can say. There are baby areas, toddler areas, big kid areas, and of course plenty of space to run.

My friend Mary Beth and I have a semi-standing monthly ImaginON date, and I look forward to it all month. I got some sweet pictures of Ronan while we were there last time. None of them smiling, to be sure, but cute none the less.

I promise you, he DOES smile. Just not on camera.

This last one is probably one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever taken. Just saying.

What a Beach.

I just wanted to share a few of the amazing picture I’ve gotten at Folly Beach today.

Running full tilt towards the water. Oh so innocent.

First experience with the ocean, just a little tide-pool.

Moments after his innocence was lost, and he fell face first into the water.

Ronan, after falling, decides to play in the sand instead. He’s trying to convince this bird to let him catch him.

He had a blast chasing birds across the beach!

Today had been a bit of a pain in my rear. Ronan has been making trouble all morning, and I had to drive out to Gaston to pick up a prescription I forgot to get while I was at work last night.

Since we were in the car for almost an hour, we missed Ronan’s nap time. He didn’t sleep in the car. It’s now 1:45, and he has still not gone down for a nap. We’re on nap attempt #3.

(I would like to take this moment to point out that he slept from 6:15pm last night to 9:30am this morning. Without waking. I know.)

So anyways. I didn’t feel like writing. Much.

Also, on Tuesday, Farah came over for a visit while Stephany and Ava had a special Mommy&Ava Day. We had a good time (with a few hiccups) and I got some sweet pictures. And LOTS of cuddles!
