Every single night I sit here and wish for something to do, or someone to chat with.

I could be spending every moment of that time doing something productive and useful.

Today, I went over to my mother- and father-in-law’s house and did laundry.  It is really nice to do, because I just do 2 or 3 loads of laundry and while they’re washing, I do homework.  There’s nothing to distract me, and I get a ton done.  Then, when I’m all finished, I have laundry done, I have homework done, and I’ve only taken 3 or 4 hours.

I am a mentor!  At work, I get to help the new hires learn their jobs.  They sit near me and ask questions whenever they have them.  It’s super neat because I can write down “Mentoring” as time used, and don’t have to do as much work.  It was a lot of fun, though.  I remember what it was like to be new, and not sure about anything.  I can’t believe I’ve worked there for over a year, and know the job well enough to teach other people.

It’s a crazy world!
