The weather in Arkansas is kind of a joke. 

 

We’ve had 70 degree days in the past few weeks.  Beautiful days.  We get an ice storm, some snow, and then 2 days of below freezing temperatures. 

 

The ENTIRE CITY shuts down.

 

We had 5 cancellations today for ultrasounds.  The mammo techs had more than 2/3rds of their appointments cancel.  When I was driving to work today, it was blissful.  The road were empty. 

 

Everyone was so surprised to see me at work.  I just laugh and shake my head.  One day driving in snow and ice?  Please.  If nothing else, Sioux Falls has given me good winter driving skills.

 

 

I’ve been looking into the types of Ultrasound jobs there are in other places.  Hawaii.  Australia.  France.  I like the idea of traveling.  This does not agree with the idea of a puppy, so I’ve been weighing the two of them very heavily.  So far, I haven’t been able to find any salary information, but I haven’t dug very deeply.

 

I still have 5 months to dig!
